1. What does a reflection coefficient of Γ=0 represent?
A. Perfect matching — the load impedance exactly equals the characteristic impedance, no power is reflected

2. What does VSWR (voltage standing wave ratio) measure?
A. The ratio of maximum to minimum voltage along a transmission line, caused by interference between incident and reflected waves — VSWR=1 means perfect matching

3. Why is the Smith chart useful in RF design?
A. It visually represents complex impedances and reflection coefficients simultaneously, allowing matching networks to be designed graphically
